I just bought my first new Beetle, a 2007 in silver. The car is just so much fun to look at, fun to be in, and affordable. There isn’t another car around that not only stands out but is still a smart buy. I think that’s the combination of features that has always defined the Beetle, the mix of a distinctive look without breaking the bank in the purchase or the cost of ownership. You can be cool and smart at the same time. I’ve seen photos of the 2012 Beetle and after looking at them for a while I can say it’s growing on me too.
