Founder & Editor in Chief: Joshua Decker

DubWorld.com was founded by QuattroWorld.com founder, Joshua Decker. He desired to see the growth of a VW related news and community website built around the  Kawf platform that has made QuattroWorld such a success. Josh got his start in the automotive world in VWs and has owned 7 different VWs including a 1986 GLI, 1992 GTI 2.0L 16V, 1995 Jetta, 1995 Eurovan and a 2001 GTI with custom widebody. He would love to get back into owning a VW someday and his dream is to import a new Scirocco.

Josh loves motorsports and is a regular at the Continental Sports Car Challenge races where he enjoys cheering on the APR Motorsport crew. He also has been lucky enough to be part of Le Mans in 2010 where he saw the Audi R15s sweep the podium with a 1-2-3 victory. He has 3 Audis currently, a 2000 Stage 3 S4, a 2002 S6 Avant, and a 2012 Q7 TDI on order! Josh is a regular contributor to DubWorld.com and is the Editor in Chief for both DubWorld.com and QuattroWorld.com.

Lead Editor: Elaine Bak

Elaine Bak has been an active member of QuattroWorld since its creation. She accepted role of forum moderator but has expanded her role further by taking the lead on projects, publishing event and race articles and photos, and writing for DubWorld. Elaine enjoys amateur photography and plans to further develop her photography skills. She has organized local Audi Club of North America events, with recaps published in Quattro Quarterly. She is an avid race fan and frequently goes to AMLS and Grand-AM series races.

Her interest in Audi/VW started with her very first car, a 1971 Superbeetle. She and her husband have owned a 2000 A4, and a 2001 A4 2.8 Avant. They currently own a 2002 3.0 A6 Avant, and a heavily modified 2006 A3 with APR development equipment. Additional plans are in the works to add a pre-1970 VW bug to the stable as a family restoration project.

Elaine received her BA from Tennessee Technological University in English, with a concentration in Literature. She graduated cum laude and held the position of president of Sigma Tau Delta National English Honor Society. She and her husband are also successful business owners of CyberTag. Over the past six years, Elaine has helped make this small hometown laser tag business a nationally recognized facility. She also maintains and updates the websites associated with this business.
