Waterfest 16 Photo Gallery

Waterfest 16 was held once again at Englishtown Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey this past weekend. I feel sorry for anyone within 10 miles of this place who doesn’t like VWs and Audis because for this one weekend each year, Englishtown and the surrounding communities become the “Mecca” of Audi and VW enthusiasts from around the globe. The local towns of East and North Brunswick are completely overwhelmed by this and it is evident from both traffic and increased activity at every gas station, hotel and restaurant in town. DubWorld.com and QuattroWorld.com had a booth at Waterfest for the first time. We were very excited to meet many of you and cover the show. We are already looking forward to next year!

We will be posting a more complete event wrap up soon but for now I wanted to share our best show photos with you all. Over 300 Photos below for your enjoyment… We invite you to please post up your pics in our Waterfest Forum!

Welcome to DubWorld.com!

The team behind the #1 most viewed Audi enthusiast website on the internet, QuattroWorld.com, has announced a new partner website called DubWorld.com that is aimed towards the VW enthusiast.  DubWorld.com provides a fresh new look into the dub culture.

The front page of the website is an interactive blog covering the dub scene including VW corporate news, Tuner news, Event coverage and VW motorsports. Other resources include an in depth media gallery, a Wikipedia style user created information database, and of course a full forum site built on the Kawf format that has made QuattroWorld.com so successful.

The Kawf forum platform offers a truly unique forum experience for its users. The Kawf forum software is designed around natural human conversation and thus online discussions are much more user friendly and naturally flowing. Multiple separate conversations can continue in a single thread without the cumbersome style of normal “bulletin” formatted forums.

We felt that there was no better place to make an announcement of this magnitude then at the 16th annual installment of Waterfest which is the largest Audi/VW show in North America. The team behind the launch of DubWorld.com has been working for several months in preparation for this day.

APR, LLC has signed on as the Title Sponsor of DubWorld.com. They are joined by dozens of other companies including, 034 Motorsport, Achtuning.com, Addict Motorsport Design, Autospeed Performance, Autosportwerks, Avalon Motorsports, AWE Tuning, Clutchmasters, Continental Tire, ECS Tuning, Elite Motorsports, EPL, Europrice, GIAC, Griffen Motorworks, Induktion Motorsport, Liquid Crack, Ringer Racing, Stratmosphere, Tire Rack, and Wicked Motorsports all of whom have signed on to support the growth of this new site.

Launching a new site is always a challenge. We look forward to seeing the site grow, the forums fill up with useful content and the website to become known as a leading source for worthwhile and interesting information about all things VW.

Please check back often as we are only beginning the process of building this online community and will be working continually to improve the experience for our visitors. We hope that you will decide to join with us as we create this community together!

Sincerely,

Joshua Decker

The California Style’d VWs

The California style is often imitated, but never duplicated. People all around the world have been recreating their cars after ours for years. It might be because of our simple approach in adding unique detailed parts to our cars that help us stand out in a sea of mundane cars or maybe its just our laid back attitude. Lets face it, California, especially Southern California, is nothing but highways and by ways, 4 lane roads of heaven; the weather here is great all year round with no hazardous conditions such as sleet Continue reading ‘The California Style’d VWs’
